Online Citation Guide

For a general overview of a variety of citation styles, try Research and Documentation Online.

Like The Bedford Handbook, it's also written by Diana Hacker and contains guidelines for documenting print and online sources.

Writing an honors thesis? Doing a SOAR Project? Want to keep a record of the research you've consulted?

Did you know that Reeves gives you access to an online citation management tool called EndNote Web?

It integrates with Mozilla Firefox using a TOOLBAR PLUGIN and with Microsoft Word using another PLUGIN, so that you'll barely feel like you're doing any work to collect your citations.

Databases, including those from EbscoHOST also have an automatic export to EndNoteWeb option.

You can use EndNote web to annotate your citations, organize copies of your articles, and generate both in-text citations & Works Cited/Bibliographies for your assignments.

It can even change the style of these citations at the drop of a hat.

NOTE: It is still important to verify EndNote's citations to make sure that they correctly mirror the most up to date version of a citation style.
